The Experimentation Division provides mission planning, operations, data collection and analysis services to Covan Group clients. Task-organized teams deploy supporting research & development programs, as well as operational experimentation projects. These teams specialize in force-on-force experiment data collection, but also have extensive experience in service-level training experimentation, operational program testing, and system under test evaluation. The Experimentation Division develops and operates digital tools, organizational processes, and mission specific data collection plans to provide immediate analysis and synthesis capabilities to the client, producing decision quality data near real time.

Data Collection & Analysis

Within 24 -72 hours of a test event, Covan Group delivers a fully realized after-action brief, featuring a digital visualization of the test environment. This visualization maps the movements of technologies and individuals within the operational area, allowing presenters to isolate critical events and anomalies, analyze them in detail, and replay them frame by frame.
